The Liber Priest is the newest member of Bandai's "30 Minutes Fantasy (30MF)" figure-kit series! This lineup allows you to create your own fantasy-based figures and characters! This starter set includes armor and weapon parts in addition to the base "silhouette" (elementary body). The "silhouette," which is the same as that of the Liber Knight, is fully posable like a human body; movable axes are provided on the head and neck for natural flexibility. The new structure of the shoulder joint keeps the body line intact, even in bold poses. The movable parts of the chest, torso, and waist work together with the sliding mechanism at the base of the waist joint to create natural poses. This is a posable, Master-Grade injection-plastic kit of an item from the Gundam universe.
What a design! While the lineage is obvious it takes the Zeon style of design in a new direction. Well armed with two beam sabers and 12 1.3MW funnel remote beam weapons plus impressive speed and maneuverability it is a fantastic answer to the newer Gundams arrayed against it.
Bandai has struck MG gold yet again with this kit. In typical MG fashion EVERYTHING moves. From the head to the individual finger joints to the 10 funnel systems, each can be individually posed and removed. The shoulder armor opens just like the prototype. Opening cockpit area. Of course all parts are pre-colored and assembly is literally a snap. However the appearance of the finished kit will be immeasurably improved by painting.
The 19 page instruction manual covers the design history of the AX-004 with line drawings. Color photos show painting details with paint mixing instructions. All text in Japanese.
Master Grade kits are a favorite in the community for their size, detail and functionality. These models are bigger than HG and RG kits, usually standing about 18 to 23 centimeters tall, and most feature an internal skeleton as well as a mini-figure of the pilot. Ryuoumaru from "Mashin Eiyuuden Wataru" joins the "HG (High Grade)" model-kit series from Bandai! The proportions are faithful to the original image, and the model is packed with movable gimmicks in various places. The built-in movable axis allows the blocks on both sides of the chest to be extended forward. Movable axes built into the shoulder armor expand the range of motion of both arms. The extended blocks on both sides of the chest can move flexibly, and in combination with the extension mechanism of the shoulder joint, it's possible to recreate the "Houryuuken" special move! The gesture of drawing the sword can also be reproduced naturally. The waist can be extended to expand the range of motion of the hip joint, allowing for bolder posing.
