"Sherlock Hound" is a Japanese anime series by Kyousuke Mikuriya and Hayao Miyazaki, produced by TMS Entertainment in 1984. It is loosely based on the famous detective stories Sherlock Holmes created by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. In the anime, Sherlock Holmes is depicted as a dog named Sherlock Hound, and his faithful companion, Dr. Watson, is a dog named Dr. Watson.
