Universal Century, year 0096. Three years after the last conflict between Neo Zeon and the forces of the Terran Federation, the fragile peace reigning over the terrestrial sphere is once again on the verge of imploding. Cardeas Vist, head of the powerful Vist Foundation, has decided to hand over the Laplace Box, which is supposed to contain the secret of his Foundation's prosperity, to the enemy, Neo Zeon. Banagher Links, a student from the Industrial 7 space colony, saves a mysterious young girl called Audrey Burn in the nick of time. She's trying to prevent another war, but it looks like she's too late... The colony of Banagher is devastated by the squadron led by the Kshatriya battle armour. Banagher is forced to defend itself by taking command of a formidable Mobile Suit called the Gundam Unicorn.
