Model - Real Grade - Gundam...
The Shining Gundam from "Mobile Fighter G Gundam" gets a new 1/144-scale "RG (Real Grade)" model kit from Bandai, with a realistic appearance and advanced mobility that allows it to transform into its Super Mode! The entire body is fully posable, so you can recreate Super Mode without parts replacement; the head does not need to be replaced to transform into Super Mode. The shoulder cover has a realistic texture and details, and the arm cover can be retracted and deployed. The internal vernier is exposed when the leg cover is deployed; the toes extend forward while the ankle cover rotates backward for added stability. The internal frame structure is optimized for human-like movement, allowing for more flexible posing. The neck has three-axis mobility, and a swing mechanism allows for more dynamic poses. Hand parts for the "Shining Finger" move are included, of course, and other interchangeable hands are included as well to expand the range of poses. Real Grade kits are generally about the same size as High Grades, but are more detailed, include more parts and have enhanced joint movements. A key RG feature is the internal skeleton, which is constructed first before adding on the outside armor pieces. Real Grades are usually 1/144 scale.

Bandai's "30MF (30 Minutes Fantasy)" figure-kit series allows you to create your own fantasy-based figures and characters! The starter set includes armor and armed parts in addition to the base "silhouette" (elementary body). The body included with the Liber Lancer is the same as the 30MF Liber Knight; the "silhouette" is fully posable like a human body, including movable axes on the head and neck that allow natural flexibility. The shoulder joints are designed with great care to keep the body line intact even in bold poses; the movable axes on the chest, torso, and waist work together with the sliding mechanism at the base of the waist joint to achieve natural poses. Armor and weapon parts are included to combine with the "silhouette" to "change jobs" to that of the Liber Lancer! Based on the series' key concepts of simple assembly and customization, this set of weapons, including a pulse blade that can be recreated in its deployed state, will make your "30MM" units ready for any battle situation! Model - Gundam - G Gundam
Just when I thought Bandai couldn't do it better - they do. This new kit of the G Gundam features the new "Fighting Action" frame system. This all new design is made from ABS plastic and screws together. The resulting frame is extremely strong and holds positions without the sagging that earlier poly-cap designs suffered from. Plus it is amazingly poseable - the box art shows the mech standing with its arms crossed. We built one here to try it and it is incredible. I actually had it balanced on one leg while doing a sweep kick pose. The rest of the kit is typical Master-Grade quality. All parts are precolored and snap together. Dry transfers for markings. Includes a figure of the pilot - Domon Kasshu. Two sets of hands - one standard and one in clear yellow to replicate the look of the energy ball attack.

The TV anime "Armored Trooper Votoms" is celebrating its 40th anniversary this year, and Bandai brings us the long-awaited High Grade (HG) model kit of the iconic war machine from the show, the Scopedog, equipped with a wide range of movable gimmicks! The "Roller Dash" can be reproduced with the range of motion of the main body and the leg joints; the legs are flexible enough to reproduce the Scopedog's characteristic boarding posture. This kit has been thoughtfully engineered with a reduced number of parts for ease of assembly and a solid appearance. The turret lens can slide left and right, and rotate too; the movable head and lens are very expressive. A 3D metallic seal is included for the lens's color. The parts on the runners are arranged in a way that's optimal to ease of assembly and efficient work flow, allowing for smooth assembly. You can customize her into her armed mode by assembling the armor parts! Three tampo-printed facial expressions are included: normal, smiling and confused; a large claw unit is suspended from her backpack, and it can be transformed and attached to an arm. The head comes with a cat-ears headband and a tail part made with lead wire for flexibility. The abdomen has a mechanism to prevent the hip joint parts from coming off, so the structure is designed to prevent them from separating when moving the legs during posing. Model - Gundam - Acguy
The world has long been waiting for a Master Grade Acguy ; now that it's here, you won't be disappointed! A brand-new MG frame was designed for this unique mobile suit, over which you install the "armor" parts; the joints all feature polycaps and are superbly designed, so that the Acguy can take on just about any pose you've seen it take in the series, including the cute curled-up crouch with its arms around its knees! A one-touch spring switch will release the claws on the right "hand", causing them to pop out quite menacingly! Two sets of "effect parts" are included, too -- one features missiles coming out of the Acguy's left "hand", and the other portrays the aquatic jet-streams from the thrusters under the Acguy's feet. A custom stand is included so you can display the Acguy swimming; and a total of six figures are included -- one seated pilot, that can be placed into the cockpit, one standing pilot, and one guy in scuba gear who can be displayed swimming along with the Acguy; plus the three annoying adorable little kids, Katsu, Retsu, and Kikka. The Acguy's parts are all molded in colored plastic and snap together for assembly; no paint is required (though painting would definitely improve the overall appearance of the finished model). All the figures, however, will require paint. Stickers and dry transfers are included for a perfect finish.
