DVD - Divers - Karas
Visually extraordinary, Karas redefines all the benchmarks of 2D/3D animation, a true gem of animation! The worlds of humans and monsters have overlapped since the dawn of time. A young woman, Yurine, and her servant, Karas, have always maintained order and balance between these two worlds. However, humans no longer fear the inhabitants of darkness. Disgusted by human arrogance, Karas has decided to renounce the laws he has defended for so long. At the head of his army of mechanical demons and now renamed Eko, he is determined to bring about the end of humanity. Dybex is proud to present Karas, the latest creation from the legendary Tatsunoko Production studio (Gatchaman, Soul Taker) to celebrate its fortieth anniversary. With its magnificent characters and settings, high-quality hybrid 2D/3D animation, breathtaking fight scenes and original soundtrack performed by the Prague Philharmonic Orchestra, Karas is a true gem of animation that will satisfy even the most demanding viewers.

In 1814, Hokusai was a painter renowned throughout Japan. He lived with his daughter O-Ei in the city of Edo (now Tokyo), spending most of their time shut away in their strange, slum-like studio. The “madman of drawing”, as he liked to call himself, and his daughter worked together to create works that are now famous throughout the world. O-Ei, an independent young woman with a love of freedom, contributed to this incredible artistic saga in her father's shadow.
